The phone calls...

I didn't go to work today. I stay home to recover. I didn't get up until it was my lunch time. I mean I was that tired. My only concern was go to work looking stupid or staying at home and resting. I think resting was the better decision. I mean if I went to work I could have taken four (4) people out. The two mommies in the office. I have a virus and no thanks to AS it's why I spent my weekend sick.

After I had lunch and took another nap until about 5.46 p.m. all I could think about was the baseball game. I wonder if I would feel better. I am thinking about going to work early tomorrow and maybe asking to leave early so I can get home to rest.

I didn't even get a "Get better." from AS. All I got was, "We're busy and you need to come into work." Well if you had a HEART which, I suspect she doesn't nor does she have a MIND, nor a BRAIN, she would know that the mommies in the office can't get sick. What a dumbass. AS is often in her own little world and had no idea I was getting sick on Friday. No one can't get better in a few days unless it's a stomach thing.

Whatever the case is, it's just insane I would have to work while sick. That's just WRONG.

My pet peeve of the day from the AS: Calling my CELL PHONE (HOW THE FUCK DID SHE GET THE NUMBER?) TWICE. ONCE to say, "GET YOUR ASS TO WORK UNLESS YOU HAVE A DOCTOR'S NOTE." Second time, "OH I JUST HEARD FROM THE BOSS YOU LEFT HIM A MESSAGE OK." My response listening to the messages, "FUCK YOU! I'M SICK!"

So AS has family where the hurricane hit. AS found out that her nephew and other members where there and were missing. Then AS finds out that the houses were totaled and there was more than one. Then AS finds out that the family members are ok.

MEANWHILE, back in reality, I'm dying. I didn't get to have lunch until 2.30 p.m. I did leave the office for lunch and took the full hour. I took a break too. I just went ahead and said screw it. I'm taking my sweet ass time. Get back and there's only an hour left of work.

No surprise to me that AS was gone when I got back, but she should have known I wasn't feeling well and yet I still worked my ASS OFF to get shit done. If I don't even get a nicer attitude I will quit. Honestly, I'm sick. I worked over time on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. That's too many days and too many hours.

I got back into the office about 3.45 p.m. I took my break and my lunch. I am still entitled to a break still, but I gave one up. How can I work like this? I don't know. How can anyone put up with this? I don't know.

Property Manager A - PMA - The one that says, "Good morning" and turns off the heat but asks first.
Property Manager B - PMB - The one who cracks jokes and is easy going
Property Manager T - PMT- talks really fast and thinks you're "dumb/slow" ***NO LONGER WITH COMPANY***
Accounting Supervisor - AS - gets paid a lot to "supervise"
Accounts Payable - AP - annoying with a whinny voice
Accounts Receivable - AR - gone but I'm somewhat taking over ***ME***
Accounting Assistant - AA - cool and gives me a lift to work and home every day
Office Manager - OM -has a "loud" laugh ***IS NOW PML TOOK OVER FOR PMT***
Leasing Agent N - LA OR LAN - don't really know if she knows what she's doing
Leasing Agent T - LAT OR LT - hardly in the office, but annoying/rude as well
Work Order - WO -was the receptionist until the person before her left
Receptionist - R - a temp, but might be permanent, but doubtful ***NO LONGER WITH COMPANY FIRED ON 8/15/05***
File Clerk - FC - me, but this is only "part-time" or when I have "free-time" to file ***NOT ME ANYMORE***
File Clerk S - FCS - been there the longest besides the Office Manager, but doesn't help me out with my filing, but I did with hers ***SHE IS NOW APA - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT***
Temp F - TF - he's working on stuff that the boss can't do. I don't know how long he'll be here, but he's been here a week at least ***LEFT ONLY HERE TWO WEEKS/A FORTNIGHT***
Payroll - PR - she's hardly in the office, but she's there. Everyone ignores her, but I think she's cool. I'm nice to her since she hands out pay checks. Gotta be you know?
Odd Guy - OG - in and out of the office once in a while, but mostly not in the office. He's strange too.
